This is a double autocross event.
We will run 2 different courses on the day, with a break between each course for our Mighty meats sponsored BBQ lunch(normal cost of $2 each per sausage or pattie with bread and onions, proceeds going towards a end of season BBQ TBC)
Combined results for both courses on the day going towards championship points.
Drivers will get an ‘Indian file’ familiarization run on each course followed by 3-4 timed runs(time and competitor numbers dependent).
Due to the higher speeds reached in this event vehicles are required to be fitted with a fire extinguisher and drivers are required to wear fireproof (100% cotton is fine) overalls and an approved helmet. Helmets may be hired from the club.
Vehicles will be checked over for safety in accordance with Schedule A of the Motorsport Manual.
Passengers are permitted in caged cars and race licenced drivers only.
Passenger indemnity form must be completed prior to commencement of your run(available at the pit office).
Autocross Sign-in & Scrutineering: 8:30-9:45am
with racing commencing at approximately 10:00am
Cost: $40(now this is what we call bang for your buck people!!)
The Evolution motorsport Club car will be available for a mere $20 per driver
Spectators FREE
Remember that if you are not yet a club member and have already competed in 2 previous events then you are required to become a sports car club member.(entry forms are available online or on the day)
Failure to do so will result in you entry being declined
The club rooms and Bar will be open at the completion of the event for some Prizes (not necessarily for just the winners) and a couple of quite refreshments.
