DESCRIPTION:Evolution Motorsport Present\nClubsport Autocross Round 3\nThis is a double autocross event.\nWe will run 2 different courses on the day\, with a break between each course for our Mighty meats sponsored BBQ lunch(normal cost of $2 each per sausage or pattie with bread and onions\, proceeds going towards a end of season BBQ TBC)\nCombined results for both courses on the day going towards championship points.\nDrivers will get an ‘Indian file’ familiarization run on each course followed by 3-4 timed runs(time and competitor numbers dependent).\nDue to the higher speeds reached in this event vehicles are required to be fitted with a fire extinguisher and drivers are required to wear fireproof (100% cotton is fine) overalls and an approved helmet. DESCRIPTION:Classic Car Hamilton presents\nThe official Hamilton Classic Car Meet Night\nCome along to the Cock & Bull Hamilton and bring your classic car.All classic cars are welcome; Chevrolet\, Ford\, VW\, Holden\, Cadillac\, Chrysler\, etc. Mark\, Archie and Andrew have been involved in the Classic Car Scene for many years and have been in various clubs. In 2010 over a couple beers at the Hamilton Cock & Bull they had a vision of seeing the carpark full classic cars\, recreating the “American Graffiti” theme After attending a Classic Car meet at Belligios in Auckland\, the vision of creating a similar event in Hamilton became clear. The Cock & Bull was perfect with plenty of parking and an indoor outdoor setting.The Cock & Bull management loved the idea and suggested they offer a few extra incentives. Then\, Archie (who is the pied piper of cars) suggested we start spreading the word and between us\, the word spread fast. With Owen on board (the instigator of the Friday night Hamilton Cruises)\, we now have a team passionate about classics cars.Our first event in September was unbelievable. Over 80 cars turned up\, a huge range of people and cars; Old Vintage\, Classic Morris Minors\, Mustangs\, Hotrods and Extreme Muscle Cars.This Event is about People\, passion… and then the Cars. So you are all welcome\, car working or stil needing work\, or even just to look around and meet the people. This will be a monthly\, year round event and down the track we hope to involve special needs groups to come along and enjoy the fun.
